Christmas and New Year 2014/15 bin and recycling collections

 

Garden waste collections will not run between 20 December and 4 January

Normal collections resume Monday 5 January 2015.

WODC is encouraging everyone to recycle all of their extra waste, from wrapping paper and cards to leftover Christmas dinner, cooking oil and real Christmas trees.

Excess waste can also be taken to local household waste and recycling centres. Please continue to use your black boxes and put out excess items for recycling  in open cardboard boxes or carrier bags if you run out of space. Also leave out kitchen caddies alongside your normal food waste bin if you have additional food waste.

 

Stands offering advice on recycling and reducing waste will be run by the Council at:
